QUOTE OF THE DAY

“A year’s end is not just a closing chapter; it’s a mirror reflecting your growth and resilience, a reflection of the strength you’ve found within.”

IDEA OF THE DAY

As the year comes to a close, some of us may find ourselves holding on to the unfinished moments of 2024, while others are charging ahead, ready to embrace the New Year.

For me, once the Christmas festivities settle, I cherish a quieter, more introspective time as the New Year approaches. Reflecting on the past year and setting meaningful intentions for the year ahead feels like building a strong foundation for what’s to come. Sometimes I share in this ritual with friends; other times, I embrace it on my own. This year, I’ll be sitting in a silent retreat, going solo, yet sending lots of joyful energy your way!

Before we head out of 2024, I’d love to share a few reflective questions for you to explore—whether over a morning cup of coffee, in the pages of a fresh journal, or during a thoughtful conversation with a friend who enjoys this kind of reflection as much as you do. However you feel inspired, take a moment to consider these questions.

So often, it’s a rush to get through the holidays and onto the new year, looking at what is ahead, rather than how far you’ve come. Yet it’s so powerful to give space for everything you have accomplished this past year, and I would love to offer that opportunity for us. So here we go!

Here are some prompts to guide your reflection:

  1. What have you achieved, tried, faced, failed at, overcome, and accomplished this year?
  2. What didn’t work out & what steps can you take to let it go?
  3. How have you taken care of yourself this year?
  4. What are you most proud of yourself for?
  5. What lessons will you carry forward from this year?
  6. What feelings do you most want to focus on and cultivate in 2025?
  7. What 1–3 words will define your New Year, and how will they influence different areas of your life?

However you choose to engage with these questions, I hope they offer you an opportunity to celebrate your growth, release what no longer serves you, and step into 2025 with intention and clarity.

Happy reflecting!
