QUOTE OF THE DAY
“Sometimes when you lose your way, you find yourself.”
-Mandy Hale
IDEA OF THE DAY
Feeling lost doesn’t always feel great, but sometimes it’s exactly where you need to be.
Not forever, of course. But in my own life, the times when I felt unclear about which career path to take, heartbroken after a breakup, or unsure of the “right” next decision, those seasons of uncertainty slowed me down just enough to let the next step appear. It wasn’t always easy, and it certainly wasn’t quick, but each time, I discovered more of what I was made of.
Right now, I’m in one of those “lost phases” again (hooray!). Some days feel frustrating, because I’d love a neat answer about what’s next in my career. But deep down, I know that discovering the next version of myself is a process—it unfolds over time, not overnight.
You may be feeling a bit lost too—in your career, in a relationship, in your sense of purpose, or in life overall. If so, know this: sometimes losing your way is what helps you recalibrate your direction.
Getting lost is really just another way of saying “going exploring.” And like any great adventure, there will be ups and downs along the way. So as you walk through this unclear season, hold onto the small daily things that bring you joy. Give yourself grace to not have all the answers yet. And remember—it’s okay to not know.
While you’re evolving, here are a few guiding phrases to support you along the way:
“I give myself permission to pause, wander, and explore without judgment.”
“I trust that every detour is leading me closer to where I’m meant to be.”
“The unknown is not empty—it is full of possibility.”
“Even in confusion, I am learning and growing.”
“I am safe, supported, and open to the new chapter unfolding.”
QUESTION OF THE DAY
What daily practices bring me joy or grounding, even when bigger answers aren’t clear?
