QUOTE OF THE DAY

“You’ll never get bored when you try something new. There’s really no limit to what you can do.”
-Dr. Seuss

IDEA OF THE DAY

One of the most common themes that comes up in client sessions is hesitation around trying something new — and honestly, it’s something we all struggle with! When we get stuck in a rut, we often try to fix things using the same methods that got us stuck in the first place. Unsurprisingly, this usually just burrows us deeper into the problem. (Ugh!)

So, how do we actually get unstuck?
By trying something new. Or by looking at the challenge from a totally different angle.

Or — and hear me out — by going to the spa.
Specifically, the head spa.

The head spa, Joyna?

Yes! A Japanese head spa, to be exact!

Sometimes the best way out of a mental jam is to care for our beautiful heads in ways we’ve never experienced before.

If you’ve never heard of a head spa, trust me — two weeks ago, I hadn’t either. But then everything changed.

While visiting one of my dearest friends, she suggested we try a head spa. I was game to try something new — but holy cow, I was not prepared for how incredible the experience would be!

Imagine a beautiful, serene massage space with the soothing background sounds of gentle music and trickling water. You relax on a table, your eyes covered with a warm, comforting cloth. For the next hour, all the stress in your head melts away under the gentlest, most luxurious scalp massage ever. By the end of the session, you’re the most relaxed you’ve been in…forever.

It’s hard to put the magic of a head spa into words, but if you’re even a little intrigued, I highly recommend giving it a try. Who knows — it might just be the relaxing session that sparks your next aha moment!
