QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Every subject is really two subjects: something that you desire, and the absence of something that you desire.  These are very different vibrational frequencies, and sometimes you may believe that you are focused on something you desire, when you may, in fact, be focused in the opposite direction.”
The Teachings of Abraham, from “Ask and it is Given”

IDEA OF THE DAY

How true today’s quote is! Can you think of the last time where you were thinking of something you wanted…and instead you may have been focusing on the lack thereof?

“I’m worried about my health.”
“My bank account is not as full as I would like. I’m not saving enough money.”
“I don’t want to end up in a job that’s worse than where I’m currently at.”
“My relationship is not where I want it to be.”
“I’m constantly filled with anxiety.”

Any of these sound familiar? As you read them, notice how they feel in your body. Not super great, eh? Now let’s take them and try on statements that are less limiting and more aligned with a thought of positive desire.

“Each day my body grows healthier and more vibrant.”
“My financial accounts are growing in a positive direction.”
“The perfect job is already created for me. I just have to be open to it.”
“I am learning about myself and my relationship in many wonderful ways.”
“I am taking the steps to introduce more peace into my day.”

These are just a few examples of different thoughts to consider. The goal here is to notice when a thought you have doesn’t feel that great. That’s your cue to begin exploring other thoughts that may feel slightly better. You can either journal and write out your ideas, have a self-conversation in the car, or reflect on this while settling down for the evening. Being able to simply question “which thought feels better?” will give you the ability to notice how your thoughts feel in your system and then give you the opportunity to shift them into a thought process that is more aligned with what you really want.

Let’s give it a try.
